Lupus: "Lillianna! Where are you?" Lupus was inside his sister and his tent. He had just woken up, feeling a disturbance. He had looked over in the dark towards where his sister and her Guardian usually slept, but could not see them. He whispered again, and crawled over to her bed. No. Not here. Where could she be? he thought. He heard a noise outside, like a wolf growling. No, not any wolf. A timber wolf, like Lilli, Lillianna's Guardian. He rushed out of the tent, Lup, his guardian, right behind him. it was dark. The fire had burnt down and the moon was high. Lup growled. "What is it?" Lupus whispered. "I smell a bear." Lup said. A bear?? He heard a scream. "Lillianna!" he shouted, and raced towards the scream. He stopped. There was his twin sister, her guardian, and a large male grizzly bear. Lillianna was aiming an arrow at the bear's face. Beneath the bear was a limp body. Lupus gasped. It was a child. The child's guardian, a small wolf pup was whimpering in pain. She's still alive. He looked at Lillianna and whispered,"Fire." Lillianna let the arrow fly. The large bear fell and died before it even knew what hit it. Lupus rushed to the girl. She looked no older then four years old. What was she doing up? She should be in her tent, snuggled up to her mother. He looked over at the young girl's guardian." What happened?" The pup whimpered in response. "Her and her human were going to the bathroom, when the bear surprised her." Lup translated. The rest of the tribe were up and rushing towards the commotion. They saw the unconscious girl, the dead bear, and Lillianna holding her bow, and pieced it together. The child's mother rushed over to her daughter. She looked a little older then Lupus and Lillianna. The mother's guardian,a beautiful golden retriever licked the young pup. The mother picked up her child and the four of them headed back towards their tent. The rest of the tribe helped remove the bear of his fur and meat and bones. Nothing would go to waste.
